Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of the Streamline customer management platform (the “Platform”), supplied by Lim We Chern) (the “Developer”) to the business that engaged the Developer to build and make it available (the “Customer”).

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Read section 9 before relying on any figure.

The Platform performs arithmetic on figures typed in by the Customer’s staff. It does not check those figures against any external source, and it is not an accounting, tax or bookkeeping system. Every quotation, invoice and report must be checked by a person before it is issued, relied on, or used to prepare a tax return.

1.Acceptance

By accessing or using the Platform, the Customer and each of its personnel agree to these terms. If the Customer does not agree, it must stop using the Platform.

These terms supplement, and do not replace, anything the parties have previously recorded in writing. Where a signed written agreement between the parties conflicts with these terms, that signed agreement prevails.

2.What the Platform is

The Platform is a bespoke, browser-based record-keeping application for the Customer’s internal administrative use. It stores and displays information the Customer’s staff enter, and produces printable documents from that information. It covers leads and sales, quotations, invoices, recorded payments, production tracking, site measurements, purchase orders, scheduling, defect records and summary reports.

The Platform is not an accounting system, a tax engine, a payment processor, a bank reconciliation tool, a resource-planning engine, a notification or reminder service, a backup service, or a monitoring service. It does not connect to any bank, payment gateway, tax authority or government register, and it has no regulatory e-invoicing capability.

3.Scope of supply

The Developer supplies the Platform as it exists from time to time. Nothing in these terms obliges the Developer to add features, support any particular browser or device, meet any performance level, or continue development, unless separately agreed in writing and paid for.

Any estimate, roadmap, demonstration or discussion of possible future functionality is indicative only and creates no obligation.

4.No professional advice

The Platform and its outputs do not constitute accounting, tax, legal, financial or regulatory advice. Figures shown, including any goods and services tax amount, are arithmetic performed on the Customer’s own inputs using settings configured for the Customer.

The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of everything it files with, or reports to, any tax or regulatory authority, and must have its own qualified adviser verify any figure before doing so.

5.The Customer’s data and inputs

The Customer owns its data and is responsible for it. This includes the accuracy of measurements, prices, quantities, discounts, customer details, payment records and any other information entered, whether entered by the Customer’s staff or imported from the Customer’s own historical records.

The Platform does not verify inputs against any external source. It does not confirm that a payment has cleared, that a bank account or registration number is valid, or that a document has been received by its recipient.

6.Backups and retention

The Platform performs no backups. It contains no backup, archive, snapshot, replication or restore facility, and the Developer does not operate one on the Customer’s behalf unless separately agreed in writing.

The Customer is responsible for arranging and testing its own backups of its data and documents, and for retaining records for as long as the law requires. The Developer is not liable for loss of data or documents however caused.

Records marked as deleted in the Platform may be retained rather than erased, and copies may persist in storage after deletion.

7.Access, accounts and security

The Customer is responsible for its user accounts: who is given access, what role each account holds, keeping credentials confidential, and removing access promptly when someone leaves. The Developer is not responsible for anything done using a Customer’s account credentials.

Links to files stored by the Platform, including uploaded photographs, drawings and payment evidence, should be treated as capable of being opened by anyone who obtains them, and should not be forwarded outside the Customer’s organisation on the assumption that they are access-controlled.

No system is completely secure. The Developer does not warrant that the Platform is free from vulnerabilities or that it cannot be compromised.

8.Personal data

As between the parties, the Customer is the organisation responsible for the personal data held in the Platform under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore, and is responsible for notifying individuals, obtaining any consent required, and handling access, correction and withdrawal requests.

Where the Developer processes personal data in the course of building, maintaining, hosting or supporting the Platform, the Developer does so only for those purposes and on the Customer’s instructions. The Customer may at any time require the Developer to return or delete such data and to have its access revoked.

9.Verification of documents and figures

Before issuing any quotation, invoice, statement or report to a third party, or using it to prepare a tax return or any other filing, the Customer must check that the figures on it are correct.

A printed or exported document is generated from the Customer’s own browser at the time of printing. The Platform does not retain a fixed copy of a document as it was issued, and a document reprinted later may differ from the one originally issued if the underlying records have since been edited.

Records, including issued invoices, can be edited after issue by users the Customer has authorised. The Customer is responsible for controlling who may do so.

10.Availability and third-party services

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. There is no uptime commitment, service level, monitoring, alerting or guaranteed response time unless separately agreed in writing.

The Platform depends on third-party services the Developer neither owns nor controls, including cloud hosting, database and file storage, content delivery and email relay. The Developer is not liable for any outage, data loss, price change, discontinuation, change in terms or security incident affecting any of them.

The Platform is built on open-source software supplied by its authors without warranty. The Customer is responsible for funding the upgrades needed to keep the Platform on supported versions.

11.Support and changes

Support, maintenance and bug fixing are provided only to the extent separately agreed in writing and paid for. The Developer may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, and may decline to carry out any particular work.

Documentation, code comments, handover notes and configuration supplied with the Platform are provided without warranty and may be incomplete or out of date.

12.Intellectual property

The Developer retains all intellectual property rights in the Platform’s source code and in any tool, library or technique used to build it, except to the extent expressly assigned in a signed written agreement. The Customer is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its own internal business operations for as long as the parties’ arrangement continues.

The Customer’s own data remains the Customer’s property.

13.Exclusion of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer excludes all warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute, common law or otherwise, including any implied warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

The Developer does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that its outputs will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose.

14.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business or goodwill, loss of or corruption of data, business interruption, or any fine, penalty or interest imposed by a tax or regulatory authority, in each case however arising and whether or not foreseeable.

The Developer’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform and these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Customer to the Developer in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The exclusions and limits above apply only so far as the law allows, and if any part of them is held unenforceable the remainder continues to apply.

15.Indemnity

The Customer shall indemnify the Developer against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense arising from the Customer’s use of the Platform, the content of any document the Customer issues from it, the Customer’s handling of personal data, or the Customer’s breach of these terms.

16.Term and termination

Either party may end the arrangement on written notice. On termination the Customer’s licence ends, and the Customer is responsible for extracting its own data before access ceases. The Developer is not obliged to retain, migrate or hand over data after termination unless separately agreed in writing.

Sections 4 to 9 and 13 to 17 survive termination.

17.General

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions continue in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. The Developer may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of them.
